Our Mission

Our mission is to empower talented underprivileged students with education, mentorship, and resources, creating equal opportunities for them to excel academically and personally. Through this, we inspire them to ‘start walking’ toward a brighter and sustainable future.

A note from the founder

I started Start Walking Foundation Africa because I saw talented children in my community held back not by lack of will, but by lack of access — to mentorship, safe learning spaces and opportunities. I believe that a single step of support can change the course of a child’s life. That belief drives everything we do: from pad-banks, to reading clubs, to mentorship and community-led programs.

“Every child deserves a fair start — and every step we take with them matters.”
